Krewe of HBCUs Foundation Inc. is the 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable wing of the Krewe of HBCUs that is organized for the relief of the distressed, lessening neighborhood tensions and securing services, conditions, social, or otherwise, conducive to the progress and general welfare of the community by:

(1) Promoting the importance of education;
(2) Promoting civic leadership, environmental, responsibility, health awareness, and volunteerism;
(3) Providing career preparedness; and
(4) Performing any and all acts and things that a nonprofit corporation is empowered to do under Louisiana law, which may be necessary, convenient or desirable to the ministration of affairs.
